Weed Control & Fertilization
One of the easiest and most environmentally friendly ways to keep your lawn lush and weed free is to simply stir things up a bit - and this is precisely what core aeration does.
Using a machine to dig small cylindrical holes in the lawn (about the size of your index finger), your lawn is given a breath of fresh air. The plugs of turf are left on the top of the lawn to decompose back into the earth and reinvigorate your green space, and the open holes serve to reduce and relieve soil compaction, help eliminate drought stress, stimulate new turf growth, increase absorption of weed control and fertilizers, reduce excessive thatch, and promote healthy roots.
Core aeration is low-impact and highly effective. The ideal time to aerate your lawn is in the spring and autumn when your lawn is growing optimally and can fill in the holes.
