United Way Day Of Caring

Marshall’s Lawncare, Nursery and Garden Centre is proud to support United Way KFL&A’s remarkable Day of Caring event. This event brings the entire community together for a day dedicated to giving back. The Day of Caring is all about building a stronger community and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

What Is United Way’s Day of Caring?

Each year, United Way’s Day of Caring brings together local businesses and volunteers to help area charities with tasks like cleaning, painting, gardening, and repairs. These projects often become overlooked as nonprofits are far too busy with their main work.

How We Helped

The Day of Caring means a lot to our entire team. This year we donated all the landscaping materials needed for community improvement projects throughout the area. Our team also handled all the deliveries of garden mix, mulch, and gravel directly to job sites so volunteers could get started right away. Whether it’s a community garden, park, or local nonprofit, our team is proud to help our community on this special day.

Why It Matters

Community support requires action, not just words. The Day of Caring shows how much stronger we are when we work together. Volunteers, local businesses, and the United Way combine their passion and resources to make a real difference across Kingston and the surrounding area. As a local business, we know how important it is to give back to the community we call home. When our community thrives, we all do.

Looking Ahead

The 2025 Day of Caring is over, but its impact continues. Our team remains committed to supporting projects that help Kingston and surrounding communities grow stronger and more united. Thank you to United Way KFL&A for organizing this amazing event and to all the volunteers who showed up ready to work with passion and smiles. Let’s keep growing together as a community, one yard and one project at a time.

Good for them, we need more businesses stepping up like this. My back’s too shot to volunteer anymore but glad to see people still care about helping out.
